The Saratoga Springs area is considered to be the southernmost foothills of the Adirondack Region in Upstate New York. This whole area, which is commonly referred to as “Saratoga”, also encompasses surrounding areas like Gansevoort, Schuylerville, Wilton, and Saratoga Lake.
Since Saratoga Springs is just off The Adirondack Northway or “The Northway” as locals call it, and is also a part of I-87, Saratoga RV Park is easy to get to from Albany (45 minutes), New York City (3 ½ hours), Boston (also 3 ½ hours.), and the Niagra Falls/Buffalo Area (5 hours).
Coming from the South – Take Exit 15 North off I-87, turn right and follow NY-50 for 8 miles. We are located on the left hand side of the Highway.
Coming from the North – Take I-87 South to Exit 16, turn left onto Ballard Road, go approximately 2.5 miles and turn left on to NY-50. We are located 3 miles on the left hand side of the Highway.
Coming from Vermont – Take Route 4 to Ft. Edward, turn right onto Route 197. At the second light, take a left on to Route 32. After 4 miles turn right onto NY-50. We are located 1mile South on Route 50 on the right side.
